front lip time, but which one

ive decided to actually do something to make my max to make it look not completely stock. so i thoguht id add a front lip, i like the stillen one, but id rather not pay that much, im lookin for that basic style. theres some on ebay, of course none now when i need to post a pic. anyone have any feedback on those, theyre like 70busks with like 60bucks shipping, thats alot less than the stillen or abs, but if they suck then im willing to spend a lil more. thanks all.

If this question hasn't been beaten to death, I don't know what ealse beside gas milage has...

I have the maxx tuning lip. I'm very happy with it although it is a bit low.

I honestly feel that the classic lip is pointless because you can't even see it, not noticible. People are going to say things like, "well, its not that flashy..." and stuff like that, but I personally don't think there is anything too it. The maxx tuning with stillen rear looks great.

i like the stillen front... to me it offers a finished "stock" look to the front end. i'm not into flashy body kits.

Kruppa, this is the classic lip on stillen, the one you have itsn't the classic. The one you have and the maxx tuning are almost exactly the same.

Haha umm...wrong

The one I have IS the Classic. That is the Stillen Classic Lip for the 02-03 Maxima. Look again on the Stillen website and you'll see the picture of the one that is mine under 2000-2001 Maxima.

ABS lip is a POS, its more prone to cracking than fiberglass in my opinion. I had it on my Maxima temporarily and I took it off when I got a sweet deal on a used n painted black Stillen aero lip. It doesn't fit all that good, whoever tried to copy Stillens design failed, cause it doesn't look like it when installed on a car- its too wide looking.

your car is one of the few that look good with it i think, most likely cause of all your other mods go with it. CF hood, BBK...the rims, your gong for the more sporty mean style.

Max tuning is no longer made. Only place you'd find one is used.

In your particular case, it's the squeegee mounted on the front of your car, used to scrape leaves and little rocks off your driveway.

To paraphrase Mike Meyers "If it's naught Scottish it's crap!" "If it's not Stillen it's crap!" Here in the Northeast when the weather gets cold and the snow is up to your @$$. A Urethane lip is the only thing that will survive the winters. My Stillen Classic Lip is screwed on (vs. 3M taped on) with 8 #10 stainless screws. It's really handy to have a flexible front lip when changing a fog light or it's bulb. Just take out the 2 fender well screws and move the lip out of the way, without having to completely remove the lip.

You're not kiddin, I just switched my fogs out and had to take off the lip. The way I contorted that thing, if I had any other lip it most likely would have folded/cracked.
