I am soliciting opinions/fact about removing tree sap from my car.

I go out at lunch and wipe off (basically wash) all "sap" instances. I go out after work and try to wash off and it leaves that stain on the finish. Is it really in the finish or can I get it out somehow. I have looked at the sticky and it is not to revealing.

Can anybody recommend a GOOD car cover. Something that when I put it on will not scratch my fragile, don't look at it to hard paint finish.

I am so tired of having to treat the outside of this car with kid gloves. I have been waxing almost once a week with Zymoil and still when I wash it, the water does not bead up like it did on my Probe. Does the new paint jobs that Nissan have not "accept" wax willingly? Meaning when I waxed the Probe and this sap showed up, I washed off and life was good. With the Maxima, it seems if I do not get it right away, I am screwed.

Sorry so long and any help anybody can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would suggest Zaino car polish. It beads up real well on my car.

I don't have a car cover, but doesn't Nissan offer one for the Maxima? I can not attest to the quality, just thinking of an option.

I appreciate

the input. I am going out at lunch to get a clay bar. Hopefully the residue stains from the sap will get pulled off with it. Hears to hoping!

Yellow stains on a silver finish don't look to good!
