creeking sound from front suspension on turns and dips

Hey guys, when I turn my steering wheels to the left and not all the way to the left and push the front of the car up and down I get a creeking sound from the drivers front strut area, if I turn the wheel to the right and do the same thing I get that sound from the passenger side strut area. I have H&R springs and tokico illuminas. Does anyone know what it could be? I think it might be the dust cover on the shock cause I had someone play around with the dust cover while I rocked the car up and down and the noise seemed to change or get quieter. Any sugestions of opinions? Thanks.

possible the strut mount bearing is bad (it's a little gay plastic piece that cracks easily).....

I found that the problem is the dust cover boot on the shocks. For some reason they rub and make that awful creeking sound. I dont know what to do. Is it safe to drive without the dust boot covers?

You'll be fine without em... but apparently it increases the chances of strut damage from dirt and other foreign particles.
