Redlinemax.com: Cali Meet New 5th gen bumper pics Painted!!!!!!

Well we had a hell of a time in San diego yesterday and to my surprise the guy who originally test fitted our 5th gen bumper, was at the meet. So we had to take pics!!! Here are a few pics. The car is on dubs, lowered on Coilovers and is hot!! He will be recieving some of our new mesh for the front of the kit and our new grill which will really make this car stand out amongs the rest!!!! Thanks krmaxima

Meh. My interest has faded. The kit is too sharp looking, way too high off the ground, and has waaay too many holes.

Agreed. I liked the way it looked off of the car, but on the car it looks like junk.

i can see the potential here, i really can. i think the problem is, and no offense to the owner, that car is more stock outside than not. if the car sat a little lower, with a CF hood, some smoked headlights, and side skirts to match (maybe the Sarona style?) that max would look very good and original.

Told ya to make the car look like the MaximaZero one.... IMHO it looks like a 4x4 Max. I will stick to my Stillen Aero lip till someone makes a decent looking front bumper repleacement.

only thing i can say in defense of the bumper is that the car is sitting on 20s which jacks any car up higher than it should be. still though....not feeling it.

and now that SSR engineering was talkin in that chat about a turbo for 6 speeds and a S/C for autos, maybe that grill can be filled up with something

but still, even tho i prefer the look of my car now, i really think a lot of people would think differently if that bumper was on my car, where it would have a more aggressive, aftermarket look, or someonw with sarona sides, like whtpearl2000 i think his name is, with the axis spiders...THAT would look nice. the other bumpers dont even look CLOSE to the fitment and quality of this one.

There's an everyday flaw with bodykits such as this: they always look like snow plowers. They petrude from the rest of the body and look out of place. This kit should've been angled INWARD so that it looks closer to an OEM design.

But this...this is pretty bad.

You know, I was just about to post the same thing. The bottom of the kit should be angled in, not drop straight down.

the only reason why it looks high is because of the 20's well once the grill goes in it should look way better.

Is the bumper lower than your stock side skirts or are they leveled?

i actually like it just the way it is, needs to be a little lower in the front, but i think its pretty nice. i dont like the fact the side marker isnt there, but ill tell you one thing, the fitment is flawless, it doesnt flare out like the piece of **** sarona. for someone who didnt know, they would think it was a stock front bumper. damn nice paint job too

would you say its as low as a regular bumper with a stillen lip? Im just curious if these would flow with my side skirts:

i fear that the bumper might be higher than the side skirts from a side profile

The car is a little high, but that of course is because he is on 20's which raises the car quite a bit. we thought of lowering the car that day for the pics because he is on coilovers, but it would have been alot to do. He has wide rims on the front of the car which would rub if you lower the car anymore. Of course I am partial to this kit, but if you guys remember this was an exact replica of a kit that you guys have loved and wanted created. So that is exactly what we did. I think the bumper came out Great!!!

Chrome- The bumper would sit lower and match your side skirts Try it, I think you'll like it. New Styling products like these always take a minute to catch on, I know I had the very first 4th gen Skyline bumper. People loved to hate it on the forums but So many people have a skyline front bumper with Trenz grill, that at times I want to strangle myself. They love the look of the car.

Sixxone- if he likes the bumper and wants to put one on his car, then why try to disuade him? It's not like he's putting it on your car!! However I must still thank you for the compliment in your previous post.

Hey, why doesn't some one photoshop the car lowered even more.

Redline.

That 6th gen is awsome like I said before. The 5th gen with the redline kit does not look as good as I thought it would look. Yeah it just doesn't flow with the car.
