Y-pipe/ B-pipe and extended warranty

Im sorry if this is a repost but i couldnt find any thing searching. My question is: Will installing a y-pipe or b-pipe void and/or have any adverse affects on my nissan extended gold plus warranty? Has anyone encountered any problems that would arise from either of these pipes that calls for warranty work? I just dont want to do something that will mess up my expensive extended warranty, i mean i have it so i might as well keep it effective. Thanks for help in advance.

This is addressed in more detail in the Stickies. Please see there.

Cliff Notes: they can only void the warranty if they can prove and document that your y-pipe and b-pipe caused the damage to the car.

If you're afraid, just put your stock y and b when ya take it into the dealer.

Another option, you can always get rid of the extended warranty. I'm working on my paper work for that this week, can't wait to get my pro-rated refund.
