Sheer Silver (light silver) vs. Polished Titanium (darker silver)

Which would YOU go with?

I've been searching online for quite awhile and I'm having trouble figuring out which one to go with for a 2003 5th Generation. I'm going to try and find just a maxima close by to see for myself, but it's hard to tell from pictures. I'm just really interested to see what *true* maxima lovers prefer - if either. I'm leaning towards the titanium, but I see a lot of light silvers online.

I've found two different ones with both colors, so now I have to make an offer soon. Any help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks!!!

You're going to get a lot of purely subjective replies, but I'll go first. I like the darker silver (mine's actually Sterling Mist) because it has more texture. In looking at both, the darker silver has more depth, bright where the light hits it and darker in the shadows.

I will say that in cloudy weather it's pretty much battleship gray tho.

Sheer silver, everybody seems to have sterling mist and it looks gloomy most times I see it.

Sheer Silver is unlike any silvers I would still get that over my black anyday.

The Polished Titanium is a rare color. You will see alot more sheer silvers on the road. I have a Polished Titanium max and i have yet to see another one on the road in the Boston area. In my opinion if you can find a Polished Titanium color max go for it. It's a pretty hard color to find...

My subjective response is: polished titanium. It's rarer. I like both colors, but the depth of the polished titanium looks better imo.

polished titanium, well if you can find them. you see more of the other silvers because the titanium only comes on the titanium edition maximas, which besides this color option, you get titanium interior accents, digital compass in the rear view, and chrome doors sills, so your getting a littl more than just the color. my mom used to have a sterling mist and next to the titaniun it just looked dull and the car looked aged. but you should go for what you like go out and see the cars for yourself

I have a sheer silver 03. I love it, looks better than the sterling mist in my opinion. However, I love the polished titanium and wish my car was that color!

Thanks for all the replies! I didn't know that the polished titanium was only offered if you got the Titanium Edition (but makes sense). I kept seeing different "silvers" for sale online but really liked the way some of them looked better then others, thinking it was just the lighting. As I quickly found out - I prefer the polished titanium too (that was always the color of the ones I liked). I haven't seen one in person that is why I wanted to get some opinions of those that have.

Thanks! And any more comments please let me know as I'm still looking for THE ONE .

Why are you making so many threads about the same topic? make one thread, ask all your questions. DONE.

This was supposed to be more of a poll - I just figured more would respond if they saw it was a simple "which do you prefer?" Sorry to clutter things up.
