Just got my JIC A1s... Question

they look even better in real life than on pictures, just awsome, will put them in tomorrow.

have this question, what should the settings be on the front camber plates? and when i go to do my alignment should they mess with the camber settings or just the wheels? any other info would be appreciated, thanx.

oh, and what should they be set to to be as close to stock as possible to get the most even tire wear?

and how do i tell that they are set to only .5 inch drop, or 1 inch drop

theyre not really a way to measure an inch from stock unless u measued b4 the dropa nd then after adjusting the jics acordingly. i use a yardstick to measure my height, and make sure things are even.i measure formt he ground to the highest point of the wheel well. right now im 24 inches in fornt and about 24.25 in the back. thats much lower than ur looking for, id say urs shoudl be about 26 all around for a 1-1.5inch drop.

When I installed my D2's I set the camber as close as I could by eye till I could drive to the shop. I got it really close so it did not need much adjusting.

Look at your tires now...

From the factory your camber setting is zero. I just went to a shop and had them set it back to zero.

I had some idiot tell me that you cannot reset it to zero because it was a new suspension...I would eat right through my tires... "I have sunk $10k into my CONTOUR, trust me I know what I am talking about" (that was a direct quote)

So I naturally ignored him and told them to set to zero like the factory specs and guess what... after eight months, my tires are perfect.
