Unnecessary Damage

Ring another one up for people who don't know how to drive! NmexMax can sympathize with me on this one. My mother backed up into me with her '98 Volvo (just in case you don't know, older Volvo's have hard as rock bumpers) and doesn't tell me about it till the end of the day. That's okay I guess cause she is my mother and I love her. But the thing is that I don't notice till after my 11:00 AM class. So naturally I'm ready to just ignite in a raging fury due to the fact that I take so much time pampering my car. That's not even the worse part. When my mom gets home she tells me it was her, and I cool off a little. Then she tells me my car was hit me because I don't normally park there. The body shop quoted me $200-$250 to fix it so its not that bad. So, I beg you, fellow orgers, tell everyone you know who drives a car to check their surroundings before driving.

Thank you. Now here's the link: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2126443/2

That was the difference between us, the girl wasn't my mother and I did NOT love her...Breast implants and a tummy tuck still didn't change anything....
My Maxima > Her.

Mine's fixed now ... but it's still not the same, since I know it's been blemished.

What shop quoted you $200-250??

Does that estimate include blending??? My max had almost Identical damage to that, I decided to have the fender replaced (cost almost the same as having it repaired) and that cost $1,100 to fix...

pics of my damage...

That $1,100 was to replace drivers front fender, refinish entire from bumper and blend the hood and drivers door.

Its a new paint and body near where I live, Franklin's, I believe its called. He said that it included new paint as well. I went somewhere else where they quoted me $780! With over $500 of that in "labor" fees. The estimate receipt looked a lot like a Nissan service's reciept. Don't know if he is fibbin or not. Also, $1,100 for just that amount of damage seems extreme because my damage looks worse than yours.

Thats the worst. I had just gotten my car back in the middle of june from the shop after they replaced my stolen headlight and fixed my hood and fender. The car was in perfect condition until 4th of July when my aunt parked with her bumper on my back bumper and didn't realized it. My dad told me it was like that and I ran out amd moved my car up to see what happened. Scratched in like three places. I just started screaming, "I can't f...king win!" Didn't help, but it made me feel a little bit better. Can't really even notice them. I learned to let it go, especially since you can't even see them in pics and stuff...

Yes, she, or my dad. I don't want people to get the wrong impression about what I am trying to say. I am not flaming my mother, just the fact that she didn't look before she drove the car. Guess I'm trying to start a Mirror/Neck Muscle Usage awareness program.

Let's see here: my hood has been painted three times, the front bumper three times, replaced once, the windshield replaced, the rear bumper painted, both front quarterpanels repainted, left HID replaced, left side marker replaced...

some people shouldn't be allowed to drive.
