Brake Upgrade Review.

Well I installed my RTP Cadmuim plated slotted rotors, Hawk HPS Pads, Technafit SS lines and replaced all the fluid a few weeks ago and....

I love them, they braking is sooo much more solid than it used to be. Now when the brakes get hot they actually manage to bite better rather than shudder like hell like the OEM crap. I know there was quite a bit of fuss from the lines not being exactly like the OEM lines... I did not have a problem since my D2 line bracket can be bent all over the place, so they stay away from the CV boot.

The only install problem I had was from not having a friggin flare nut wrench for the lines... I had to call my brother and have him bring his. You have to use one, using a regular open box 10mm quickly rounded off the first line

I have not heard any squeeling from the hawk pads, the pedal feel is great, the bite is much better than OEM and the lines work great for me with NO clearance issues.

For anyone that had a problem with them rubbing the CV Boot I would look at finding the D2 brake line brackets, they sould be usable with any suspension and can be bent in any direction...

great to hear your happy with your setup.

I have AP Racing drilled/slotted rotors, great quality, very happy with braking, everyone that feels my braking gives good comments.

However my hawk pads squeel when i brake slowly....sometimes, but at first they werent.
