License plate relocation

anybody ever move the front license plate down a little into the low air damn of the car so it doesnt disrupt the bumper lines so much? pics? and would it affect the engine ventilation at all since it would probably block some air trying to get in, thanks

I would not do this. I think it looks better on its original spot.

i have sceene this on 4th gen's and you do have to bend the licens plate, but i do agree that the stock mounting position of the licens plate does interrupt the lines of the car, i honestly dont think it will effect the "air flow" at all. Try it, see how it looks, be the 1st, post some pics, you may inspire others to do this aswell.

i'm pretty sure doing anything to the license plate in illinois is illegal..bending/cutting it in shapes or even putting it on the inside in the corner of the windshield, but i am not 100% sure on this.

From: Auburn WA,
I looked up the state laws for Washington and all it said was we couldn't cover any numbers on the front plate. we don't have to have tabs on the front either. I know having the plate removed or in the window is illegal but I don't know for sure about what I did. No problems yet though

i usually see alot of talons around here with there plate on the side of the front bumper because of IC's. I know i got pulled over once for having the plate in my front window which was kinda stupid.

I had to relocate license plate because of the size of the European plates.

well, mine is mounted in a slightly unorthodox fashion.
Not sure if it is higer or lower then supposed to be, but I didnt use standard license plate screws. I made my own holes in the plate, and it is mounted "wider" then usual.

The car had those existing holes, so I used them
