looking around the net i found the DR mod for the auto tranny maxs. did a search and found very little on it and was wondering if anyone could enlighten me a little bit. what exactly does it do, how much faster are the shifts, is it worth it, is it bad for the tranny, etc.

There have been tons of discussions on this. I have personally run the DR mod on 4 of my Maxima's with excellent success. Check out my homepage for some info.

Do you think I would use it on 4 different cars if I had any problems?

Not trying to be smart but it is a great no cost mod as long as you do it on a WOT switch.

i was just going off of this from your website, "A WOT (Wide Open Throttle) switch is best suited for this purpose because the part throttle shifts are extremely harsh and could damage the transmission."

i just wanna make sure its fine before i do it to my car thats all

Lots of guys just hook it up to an on/off switch and although it may work ok for you I wouldn't recommend it. Just use a WOT switch and then it becomes a no-brainer.

What you need is a N/C (normally closed) micro switch. Some you can buy have both normally open and normally closed. I bought mine at an appliance shop. They look like this.

I use it and it doesn't really do anything, time wise, for me. You can feel the difference in ****s though.

Yes it does, you just have to put the WOT switch on the gas pedal vs the TB. Don't ask what the other switch is, you only need 1.
