shock absorbers...

im wonderin... will the xterra or the frontier shocks fit a maxima 3.0 5th gen... im tryin something really really different... and im wondering if they fit perfectly... im not tryin to hear any one flame me for this question... i'll explain later why im wondering...

I would doubt it, as I'm sure those struts are longer than ours, since those are trucks. To put in perspective about them "fitting perfectly", think about the fact that not even 4th gen maxima struts "fit perfectly" on a 5th gen (different top hat)....

for us to comment on the utility of using those struts though, we would need to know exactly WHY you would even want to...

im lookin to put in bilstein shocks... but none are available for maximas... now they fit the xterra and the frontier... thas y i was wondering.... any thoughts?

why do you want bilstein shocks, exactly? The dampening and rebound rates for the xterra and frontier will not be the same as for the maxima anyhow.

if they fit....which I doubt, you will have a bouncing truck ....... just get Maxspeeds with Illuminas or any other spring you like..... good luck...
