2008 Maxima!!!
2008 Maxima!!!
thought you guys would like to read this...it is from edmunds.com
As opposed to gaining more sporty qualities, the 2008 Maxima will instead be made into more of a bona fide luxury vehicle. Starting in the 2008 model year, Nissan will be upgrading the Maxima's interior, bringing the vehicle into more of a near premium class along the lines of the Toyota Avalon. Nissan's top-of-the-line sedan will be further distinguished from the Altima, Sentra and upcoming Versa through redesigned sheet metal. While the vehicle's appearance, in terms of both the exterior and cabin, will change greatly, the 2008 Maxima will retain its FF-L front-drive platform, which it shares with the Altima. The 2008 Nissan Maxima is due to roll off the company's assembly lines in Smyrna, Tennessee, starting in the fall of 2007. A hybrid version of the vehicle could appear further down the line, perhaps in 2009, as a companion to the upcoming Altima hybrid.
what do you guys think?? I hope they keep the performance herirtage hidden in there somewhere.....
