DAMN STRAIGHT. I am going to insist on a 6th gen Maxima. Not because I really think they are all that great, but so I can rip apart the interior and see what kind of work needs to be done for an LED swap on them. Seriously.

CLOSEST YET!!!

GRAND TOTAL: $2590.87

Alright, so here's the deal. I am going to a photo shoot in which the estimator will roll out the numbers. The insurance agent whom covers the other guy has already spoken to me and obtained a statement...

...and as I thought, here's where things start to get fun. Apparently there is a "shared-fault" clause or some ish in NJ in which responsibility can be shared by both parties in some circumstances. Of course, I am sure they are going to try and weasel their way out full responsibility somehow. I don't see how this is possible considering how my car was back 7/8 of the way out of the spot when he backed into me. So effing *duh* how could I have avoided it?!

The only thing holding me up right now is that I am putting in a whole new audio frontstage tommorow, along with upgrading all of the power/speaker wire.

If they pull the "shared fault" crap have your insurance company pay and let them subrogate back to his insurance company. What a load of crap!

Oh one more thing... sorry to hear about your accident. I am also curious to find out how Mudvayne sounds in your set-up.

Probably not as good as the two times I've seen them this year!!!! Although at least I won't be around all those greasy-haired "I HATE MY PARENTS" type teenagers whom of which could easily double the stock value of Proactiv should they choose but a single cycle of their products. Still not sure which song will be the first to be played once everything is in...might be some Bach, KMFDM, Nile, or Emperor.

I was going to go through my insurer, but there should be NO REASON WHATSOEVER I need shell out a dime fo this thing. I filed a report with my insurer, and am seeking damages through his. If need be I am going to file a claim with my insurer and then sue the f'ucker for my surcharge.

Metal...

Depending on your insurance company you might want to file the claim through them and let them deal with the other insurance company. Thats why you pay them. Also demand to the Customer Service Agent that this is in no way shared fault and that you did nothing wrong. With that said that will give you some leverage... You shouldn't have to pay a dime...

I bid...........

I bid $2900. The body work is costly because they cant replace the rear quarter. Painting the rear quarter & blending it with the door & bumper & trunklid is what there going to tell you. At least $2900
