New Brembo Brakes on Ebay.

Hey guys check this out, I found those and wanted to ask an advise before buying. I thought that should be a great upgrade sence our brakes heat up too fast.
Are these any good, did anybody had any experiences with those? Is that a good price, any suggestions?
Here's a link.

Isn't it strange that he says they fit 02 and 94-99? I'm not sure that's possible.

Haha, this is funny...Metal Maxima just sent me a message a week or two ago telling me it was "gage," so I changed it.

So I finally decided to look at dictionary.com (I'm a tool) and found that, according to them, it can be either:

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=gauge

But I do like the U in there, maybe I'll change it back.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just re-read Metal's PM. He didn't say "gage" rings, he said "gauge" rings, just like you. I had it spelled "guage" before.

Now it's fixed, thanks man.

I'll be checking runout and rotor thickness this week to see if mine need replaced or turned. The idea intrigued me. So, I did a search and came up with this.
http://forums.maxima.org/printthread...6&page=1&pp=30 .
Looks like they are the same price....Difference in shipping, maybe????----This is an orger and thought maybe if you where going to buy, you could support his cause.
I remember hearing awhile ago that in colder weather the drilled rotors actually have slightly less stoping power until they warm up. Not sure how true this is and would like to hear any experiences myself, maybe if enough people are interested we could do a group buy and get free shipping plus $10 off or something... If enough people are interested I can check around.

Interesting???

Hey I found this very interesting as well, very dood prices on those 2002-2003 Maximas. Only $186 for all 4 roters, but they're confusing me on that "Important Notice". They say that they got Brembo Zink plated RTP cross drill, sloted, dimpled for sale. And in the notice they say Brembo still doen't offer them. So what do they offer then, RTPs only???
Here's the whole link ot it...http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....6&page=1&pp=40

(2002-2003 maxima only)

Brembo doesn't offer 2k2-2k3 maxima Front rotors.

And the company who offer them on ebay has a painted hub not ZINC plated over all, so there still will be rust between the vent area. Zinc plating is an extra $20 process that covers the whole rotor. Which our company do offer for Free.

If you guys can get 15 buyer I will do free shipping on Front and Rear rotors thats a $30-$45 saving

btw I have a set of dimpeld/slotted zinc plated for $200 shipped F/R instock

AutoMax,

You have a great price on the RTP rotors. How do they compare with other brands?

Does anyone have actual user feedback on these rotors?

Brembo- brand name-good quality-expensive
RTP-none brand name-good quality-less expensive-serve the same function, last as long compare to brembo.

I have sold lots of RTP rotor to mostly 02-03 guys, I haven't heard anything negative about them so far. I am pretty sure if you use the search function, you will find your answer.

I have them, great rotor... I also installed Hawk HPS pads and SS lines with all new fluid. Overall yu cannot beat the price and they stop really well.

I would stay with blanks if you are looking for top performance. Drilled/slotted rotors are only for looks on our cars. The big thing is not the rotors, it is the pads. I have Hawk HPS pads and they are great, they stop really well and dont cause "shimmy" when you have a highspeed stop.

Drilled rotors will no help you... once again it is the pads not the rotors.

I have replaced my rotors with plain (non-slotted) Brembo blanks, and Raysbestor Quiet Stop pads. and they are both great. No vibration, no dust, just clean reliable breaking. NOPI has the Brembos for ~ $46, see

Good luck!
