autotrans problems please help

have a 2000 max auto rebuild trans with less than 25k while shifting from 1st-2nd it over revs with a jerk while going into 2nd, I recently changed the fluid with valvoline dexronIII as well as tran filter or screen about 2k ago should i change fluids

Are you going to change the fluid again? Is that your question? You should be fine with the 1 change.. you can run it up to 30K per the manual.....

NO I HAD CHANGED THE FLUID ABOUT 2K AGO AND IAM JUST STARTING TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE SHIFTS

I got the same problem, I want to know what is going on. ? Iam doing a 6 speed Swap in the Summer Anyway

If it was rebuilt it should have a 100K warranty. You should let the shop look at it

take it back to the shop for further analysis... don't tell them you did a fluid change......

Solenoid packs are a bit of a problem on the 00-01's. I had the dealer replace mine at about 25k. Fixed the problem right up.

Does it seem like the shift is very delayed from 1-2 and sometimes a rough 2-3? Those are the exact symptoms I was experiencing.

i put the valvoline in mine and it started doing it right after i put the new fluid in. i am probably gonna change fluids again around christmas

are you doing it ur self, or are you having some1 do it? if so, how much is it, ,and is it hard to do it. Where did u get the tranny at?

iam not doing it my self, tilleys 99 is doing it the trans is around $600 it self, Not really hard takes him about 2 days to do.. As he is very Knowledgble in Swaps....
