02-03 SE rims are designed differently (mainly the rear part of the spoke), so I dont think they will fit the 5.5gen brakes. You can pick a set for about the same price as 00-01 so I would look into them, besides the 02-03 SE rims look better.

I have an 02 GLE, all 4 rims are bent. I can't find a set of 02-03 for a reasonable price, but I saw a set of 00-01's. I was wondering if they would fit.

Who said anything about going from 17's to 16's?

Keith

Yes they will fit.

You mixed up A34 brakes into the equation somehow.

Actually, some earlier models of '00 SE's were 16" and the later '00 models offered 17" as an option. My '00 has 17" which were offered an option.

Right forum. I can't create a new thread for some reason. My account claims I am a newbie, but I have a thread under this account from over a year ago.
