Maximas with the H&R drop. Post pics here.

Hey guys if anyone has this set up (H&Rs) on their Maxima then post pics if possible. I wanted to make this thread sence 4th gen's has it, so I decided to ask you guys and see what we have here in 5th generation. I installed my rear H&Rs and still got Eibachs in the front so would love to see the pics of what everyone has. Hopefully this is where this thread belongs.

I suggest keeping the Eibachs up front. The H&Rs all around position the Maxima awkwardly; the rear looks like it's sagging.

agreed....it's quite apparent when my car and soonerfan's are parked next to each other...same height in the front, but his is much lower in the back (I have maxspeeds)

Yeah I'm thinking about it right now if I should install the front H&Rs instead of Eibachs. I realy wanted to install H-techs in front but I couldn't find anybody who would sell me the front pair.
Hey Irish I guess I'll let you know if I'll sell my front H&Rs or not. Give me little bit more time.

Well keep the pics coming guys...

The "after" picture was taken same day of installation, i had the springs for about a year and it looks pretty much the same. The rears do look like they are sagging, at first i thought it is just the larger cutout in the front fender but when you look at
the picture you can see the car is actually higher up front.

hey irish or sooner (or anyone) im getting 18" G35 rims soon and I was wondering what drops you guys recommend? Ive been hearing H&Rs are good but they sag in the rear and peoples been using aftermarket struts, aftermarket front springs and stock rear springs as a setup. I didnt know you can pair stock rears with aftermarket fronts....

Im just looking for a even drop so the car actually looks even without having the front look higher.

pic is found here: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html

If only H&R had an even drop… whey would have been the best springs.

BTW: I think it’s not only about the looks. I’m pretty sure that this kind of drop makes the vehicle unstable at high speed; understeer gets even worse as well.

it's never a good idea to mix and match springs and struts unless you are well aware of the spring rates or capabilities of said spring/strut or are trying to do something specific on handling.

I have Maxspeeds all around, which is an even, good-looking subtle drop. I am putting H&R's up front after ALOT of research to help me in autocross. Looks-wise the front H&Rs are the same height as the front Maxspeeds.

My thoughts on H&R:

1. Definitely less of a drop in front.
2. Handling improvement is very noticable.
3. No side-effects - ride is great, no bottoming out.
4. I am getting the Stillen lip (front only) to balance out the stance.

Good luck.

H&R's just don't look good. Gives the look of the front end being higher...Had them for years, glad to see them gone!

I have the H&R Drop all around but like most people are saying, the rear appears to sag. The front still has too much gap which gives the perception of rear sag and an uneven drop. I will hopefully be switching to Eibachs up front shortly.

I went with the front only H&R dropped as referenced by Housecor last year. I like the look as it makes it appear as if the car is pointed down toward the ground up front. Here are a couple of pics:
