Our DDE's are neon so its a gas combination that makes them turn different colors. Pretty original, but I can't see what the purpose of having them red is as you can't really drive dowm the street without someone thinking that a car is reversing towards them.

looks pretty sick to me! too bad you shouldn't drive with em, but to pull up and kill the lights and just have those on...pretty sick. maybe the next step should be selectable colors...either two rings with either white or red/blue your choice or changeable light source? like the indiglo dashes...you can turn the **** to transistion the color up or down the spectrum? matt would know better how feasable it is.

look pretty nice. i agree with edward lee :I can't see what the purpose of having them red is as you can't really drive dowm the street without someone thinking that a car is reversing towards them.

Wait.................are yall smoking crack.....?
How would somebody think a car was reversing toward them when
1. Reverse lights are white.........
2. The red devil eye would be in back of them......
So they would assume that a person was reversing toward them going the wrong way down the street?
I think those lights look very neat and clean on that Max.......

How about this then:
1. If you need white reverse lights for this situation to work for you, then imagine that the headlamps are the reverse lights. Now you have a pair or red lights and a pair of white lights coming at you.
2. The red devil would not necessarily be in back of them if the red eyed car were to come out of a driveway, or around a corner. If red eye was in back of them, just think of how many drivers eyes would leave the road for their rearview mirror, thinking that some one was driving in reverse.
All that I am trying to say is that red lights are distracting to other driver's.

1. My headlights are way to bright to be mistaken for reverse lights and the highlights pretty much make sure that the rings can't be seen

they look pretty cool, but they are definitely a ticket waiting to happen. Not to state the obvious, but IIRC red lights on the front of the car are illegal except for emergency vehicles (fire trucks, ambulances)...even in the daytime.
I'd suggest only using these only when you're not on public roads....

nice but guess what you should have used amber color you know I guess m the first to suggest this. And my reason for amber or yellow is that
1. you dont need to clear your signals.
2. Ambers are totally legal
3. Put some yellow HIDs in fogs or extreme yellow JDM bulbs
4. Put amber LEDs in sidemarkers.
Now this setup will be sweet rite.
DONT EVEN TRY TO STEAL MY IDEA COS I WILL COME FOR U IN A SECOND LOL

1. Cleared looks better. I put an crome bulb that lights up amber. Which looks better than the Amber plastic
2. Can't argue there
3. So what would I do with my white headlights?
4. Already getting LED's (All Red to match)
You do it and post pics.
Why would i waste money and time to "steal" your Idea.....You do and post pics. I like what I have, you do it and post pics.

That's a great idea! I can't believe that I didn't think of that. Do you think that they make the rings in amber?
Not gonna steal your idea because I'm never gonna crack those lights again.
