but they don't make a 225/50/17. It sucks cause i just need one, and it will cost 193.00 for a BFG new one. but I think for under 100.00 for Kuhmo I might as well get all 4 tires. So does anyone know what size is a good size to go with?

The size I would go with is 235/45/17. However, these tires are not spec'd to fit our 7" wide rims. But many have gone with 235's anyways. If you want a tire that is spec'd for 7" rims, try Nitto's. The 555's in 235 and 245 width are spec'd to fit a 7" wide rim. There was a huge thread on this earlier and I think it may also be in the FAQ sticky thread.

I think it's worth it to get new tires anyways because the traction on the stocks are reputedly horrible. Kumhos are good...I like.

You can easily fit 235's Adam, no big deal. 245 would be pushing it, but they will also fit. Remmeber Dman's max? He has had 235 on his for a long time...

True. But you can't do that and stay in spec on 7" wide rims according to the Kumho. Besides, why would you want to do that when you can buy Nitto 555s in 245/45R17s? The Nittos ARE in spec on 7" wide rims and they're a much better fit from the perspective of overall diameter?
