New Years Accident
Well where do I start. So new years day (1-1-06) after I dropped off my gf at her house 3:40am, I was going back home and tired as hell. I was sleepy and I should of stayed there or pulled over. And halfway back home I dozed at the wheel and I felt the car turning on a turn and as I woke up I swerved cuz i was going off the road and swerved to the other side of the road trying to get control and flipped upside down into a ditch. this car is a total loss now. and I walked away with no scratches.

I've only made the December meet if anybody saw this car. So now Im looking to getting a 2006 2.5 Alty or maybe a sentra SE-R Spec V, and more sleep haha..

jeesh man your lucky you werent hurt based on what you have told us about the severity of the accident. I think its probably a better outcome if your insurance considers it a total loss compared to trying to fix er up. If its a total loss I think you could buy the car back for very cheap and than part out the car as well as getting the value of the car in full from your insurance.
wow be careful bro people die like that, didnt you see this post or is this you.
it could of been a lot worse.

Clearly...those are not pics of the damaged car....which begs me to ask the question, why the hell you were going home at 3:40 am on New Years Day...when you should have been at your GF's trying to get some action....

well imma try to answer all ur questions that I remember...the car is totaled and i have GAP insurance on it so all i can do is jus go get another one...why i was out 340am and dropped her off...i handled my business and dropped off so I could head back to shreveport and pack to go back to dallas that late morning....i didnt have a camera at the time, this all happend at 3am so it was too dark anyway, no lights...i didnt think about no pix, shoot i was shocked as hell, 4get pix haha yea damage wise, the back windshield shattered, the top was kinda bent and scratched up and the passenger front side (door and fender) was bent not so badly. other than that, the thing was still running...i never been been upside down in a car so i jus got the hell out and they took care of the rest.
dam tha suks i agree with AuAltima3.5 the max is a easy car to sleep in . i kno i have lmost fell asleep in it but it was in bumper to bumper traffic cuz i was tired. But hey as long as you came out alive thats what really matters. i call dibs on leather if you do part out lol
good - u came out one piece
bad - dealing with insurance company and wait for the claim check (maybe fast, depends)
worst - your insurance rate going to sky high (maybe) uphere N.E insurance rate was crazy, pray not goign into any accident or ticket.
sorry to hear that but lived with it, it already happened, good luck.

Take a look at this thread for suggestions for an $18K car.
