Greddy Evo2

wow i love what i ordered. they sound great and looks good too, but damn did the install take forever. it took me 3 hours with a friend and his many great tools. it is so much easier if you can lift your car up instead of having it on stands. if it wasnt for the jackstands i think me and my friend would have finished it in like 1.5 hours. other than the getting the muffler part on everything else was a piece of cake. all in all id say this is a great exhaust so far and im loving every part of it.

It is a pain doing the rear section swap with jack and stands, but at least now you know it can be done. Irish and I did it some time back as well:

The bolts from the b-pipe to the rear section can be removed with some Liquid Wrench and hand tools.

The nuts on the studs from the cat to the b-pipe may be much harder to remove and I highly recommend trying to drench them with Liquid Wrench first and if that doesn't work, get someone with a torch to remove and replace those nuts. You do not want to break those studs because they are the type that are welded onto the cat and it'd be much more trouble trying to get those fixed if you break em.

And yeah, you can do this in a driveway or anywhere flat with a big enough jack, see link above.

i did it in my garage. and man was it a PITA. you do need a big jack and stands or else you will be truly screwed. if you can find someone with a lift it will be 10 times easier. i didnt have to torch the muffler but it did take some time and thinking to get it out cause i didnt have enough ground clearance for the muffler to come out. other than the muffler section it was a piece of cake

hey 95 max if you look at my profile to the left you can see that i own a 5.5 max and they do bolt on perfectly fine. i dont know why it says 2000-2001 but all i know is it's bolted on to my 5.5 max right now and it sounds great. if you have any questions just ask me since i have the experience with installing it just yesterday

nice exhaust the law....is this your xmas present to the maxie? hehe

and yes, installing a muffler on a 5th gen is hard as hell if you don't have a jack that lifts real high...i've taken mine off a few times and its a major pain...I now have a craftsman 3.5 ton jack...solves the problem!

yep this is a present for my baby but now she needs a wash badly but since its somewhat raining i cant give her a bath yet. i need to buy a new damn jack and stands. i was so lucky that my friends jack was i think a 3.5 ton. other than the PITA muffler section all the other parts were easy as cake

steven have you seen my exhaust clips on the exhaust stickie?

I rear ended this tercel...no damage to his car but major for mine....most likely cuz i'm lowered like mad....instead of my bumper hitting his...the top of my hood hit his bumper...and the hood is connected to that latch+hook and the front reinforcer beam...all that pushed backwards
