I need a little help,

I tried to ri-wire my turn signal so that the buttom yellow part would blink at the same time as the actual turn signal. I followed the steps by by Russell Zotz (RussMaxManiac) at http://www.b15sentra.net/russ/maxsite/clearrewire.html

I don't know where I went wrong but I shorted out my blinkers and had to replace the fuse.

Is there anyone here from San Francisco or somewhere around here who did this before and could help me out to do it?
