Guys can some one get me part # for 2k1 rear brake caliper's piston DUST CUP? i recently had some problems w/ rear calipers and found out that I need to replace those dust cups on both sides. I tried to look up on-line and could not find anything. There were only whole caliper assembly, piston and overhaul kit. Maybe this overhaul kit has piston dust cup?

yes you need the whole kit, that piston boot comes in the kit, they dont sell it separately. Is the boot jamming the caliper piston?
Call Dave B and tell him you need the boot for pistons, he'll find which kit includes this part.

i also was concidering buying remanufactured calipers from advance auto parts but have no idea how good they are.

 

Hi all now I have another question. Has anyone of you guys changed rear calipers? I found some deals on reman. but Can't decide which brand is better? Some sites also have core charge price. Do I have to send my old calipers back in order to get my money back?
