So I installed the HID tech capsules. I did it Roys way so I kept the shield in the housing. My question is should I have cut the top and sides away on the "sheath" that covers the bulb? I left it on there because I didn't even really think it would come into play. I'm wondering if I remove it will I get more light? Will it be more yellow? Hoping someone with some experience can help me out here. I think I may just re-open the housings tomorrow and cut them away like Roy suggested. Hopefully someone can give me some input.
