as bad as those pics look...
...what I see is only minimal intrusion into the passenger compartment. It looks like the 1st one was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler at about 60mph, and it looks like the second one was nailed in the right-rear and flipped. But in neither of those two pics, at least from the perspective shown, do you really see any serious passenger compartment intrusion.
Looks like the Max was doing its job in sacrificing itself to protect those within. I would only hope that my Accord would do as good of a job as that in wrecks like that

Well, at least if we wreck our Max's, based on these pics, we might not get too bad hurt, as long as seat belts are in use (and I hate seat belts!).
Very sad pics though. I think if I saw my new Max in that condition I would be in hysterics and just be bawling. Then I would be ****ed and ready to kill whoever hit me!
