my auto ---> manual progress
my auto ---> manual progress
this 5 spd conversion has been hell...!!!!
Missing parts, waiting for parts, Breaking the SHIFT LINKEAGE, companies sending wrong pedals.... it's been a rough 2 weeks.. but i'm almost done! The manual tranny is mounted, got new pedals, and shift linkeage today. Jjust need to wire things together, put up the clutch pedal, bleed the clutch, and i'm almost done. if i had all the parts ready... it would've been done in 2-3 days! argh! ooo well...
Here are some picture of the beginning to present...

check out that shift linkeage.. if was bent 90* and i had to torch it to bend it back and reinforce it with a steel rod.. but i decided to just get a new shift linkeage.

wow this swap has been hell!
the tranny we bolted up doesn't work! it's stuck in gear... my buddy had a spare 4th gen tranny laying around.. so we took it apart and put in the new differential... and sealed it back up and it still won't go into gear. WTF!?
the detense (spelling) are messed up or something. someone know how to assemble a tranny in california?

Good Job. I've been to a couple swaps and all you guys buy that same short shifter with that pain in the but clips to install, unless you have the clippers for it.
