NGK or Bosch

I need to get some new spark plugs in my car, and i was wondering which ones to get. From what I hear NGK and Bosch are some of the best, what would you recomend?

NGK OEM or NGK V-power copper plugs.

Engine plus no mods = OEM is always the best replacement, IMO.
Note: You can always buy the exact same "OEM" plugs from parts stores for roughly 1/3 to 1/2 the price.

i dont know about 2000's, but my 2k2 came stock with the most expensive plugs ive ever seen, $13 each!!. if you plan to EVER get nitrous, just buy some 1 step colder copper plugs and call it a day, otherwise get the OEM plugs.

NGK. I'd make sure the plugs from Bosh are the same length as the OEM's. Focus owners have lots of problems with Bosch plugs because they are physically shorter than OEM's and cause problems in the comubustion chamber when used. No good.
Have you looked into any other plugs? You could pick up some AC Delco Iridiums for a very decent price compared to Denso and NGK if they make them for Maximas.

Get the OEM plugs: OEM Plats. There is no reason to use anything different. Unless you are doing some serious NON-NA mods to your car you will need nothing but stock plugs. 2cts.

I used Bosch P+4 for around 4 years.. biggest mistake ever... I went back to NGK after long debates here on the Org. Trust me you will run your NGK for ever and will not have to replace them thatr much like I did with the Bosch. Take my word for it....

I talked to a guy that specialized in Nissan/Datsun (when they were Datsun), and he said Bosch are crap for the Nissan's. Best to stay away and go with the NGK's. On of the best tech/mechanics... (for stock stuff)

This is what you end up with when you get non OEM plugs, it doesn't take a genius to figure out whats wrong with this picture, the "L" in the model number on the NGK laser Plat OEM replacements stands for "LONG" and for the VQ35 only don't thow these in your VQ30! The generic replacement ( in this case Denso Iridums) caused a major miss!

I have a thread on this:

I wasn;t trying to be a tough guy. I only go by facts.

And your post is still invalid, since that picture originated in another thread.

Also, re: DEK and DE (3.0L) spark plugs, since when are they different?
