DAVEB would be the least expensive source for a NEW stock one.

Beg to differ! We are talking about a 5.5 Gen here! Not an 00-01. After speaking with Brian Cattman himself he said unlike the 4th gens and 00-01's ( 3.0's ) where the restrictions in flow are from the y-pipe the 3.5 restriction is in the catback, so coupled with an CAI you get some big gains like you do with the 3.0 and a y-pipe.

PS Too bad Frankencar doesn't build more IMO it's the best, I'm glad I have one.

The 00-03 catbacks are almost identical....

00-03's both have the restrictions in the headers+y-pipe.

Nmxemax is running a stock catback and has some of the best dyno#'s for a 5.5gen.

People who have dynoed with just the cat-back on the 5.5s haven't gained much over stock numbers, IIRC.

The Cattman b-pipe has a pretty large resonator. I've heard from other Org members that the Cattman b-pipe combined with the stock rear section isn't too loud, and the stock rear section/muffler flows pretty well already. Most of the restrictions in the stock exhaust are in the stock b-pipe.
