safc II question

so this has been bugging me... been researching initial settings for the past two hours, reading the safc instruction/wiring manual, searching on the forums, reading the all motor forums about the vafc settings... searching on the apexi sites... can't get a straight answer.

What do i need for initial setup for my sensor type?

in the manual the A33 lists sensor type as HW 17, but i got a SES. which makes sense, because the wiring manual also lists the A33-Cefiro/maxima as 2.0 liter engine, and a different ECU pin layout. maybe wrong car.
i've read 1 in 1 out... but then i read that that was for vafc II only and safc II users should pay no mind.
currently i'm using HW 26 because in the manual...the Skyline, with the VQ35 and the correct ECU layout lists as a HW-26. no SES here...

but then i just found a guy who's using HW 27. What's going on here? sorry if this is a newb question... but i have been researching for quite some time now. also if there's other pertinent info i'm missing here please enlighten.

thanks, fellas

Thanks, anyway.
yeah i plan to dyno sometime this week or next. i'll keep you updated.

Did you dyno yet, steven88? i've been following your threads in the all motor forum. let me know if you find a good dyno tuning place near cerritos. i'm right in fullerton. i found one in the inland empire charging about $65/hour for tuning. best $ i've seen, but don't know about experience/quality.
