# of lumens for common K ratings?

So what exactly are the # of lumens for common HID setups?

4300k (stock) = 3200 lumens
6000k = 2800 lumens
8000k = 2500 lumens

Is this figure somewhat correct? also what about halogen bulbs? how many lumens do they put out? typical 60 watt halogen bulb that is....

3000K - 3200 lumens - GOLDEN YELLOW

4300K - 3300 lumens - BRIGHT WHITE (BRIGHTEST)

5000K - 3250 lumens - INTENSE WHITE

6000K- 2800 lumens - CRYSTAL WHITE

8000K - 2550 lumens - CRYSTAL BLUE (I love this color)

10000K- 2300 lumens - AQUA more on purple side

12000K - 2100 lumens - PURPLE

30000K - 1900 lumens - DARK-PURPLE (SHOW PURPOSES ONLY)

Hope this helps you make the right decision.

steve, IIRC for a typical H4, the 55W low beam halogen emits 1000 lumens, while the 60W high beam is 1650 lumens (I think these # are the max allowed by law).

this depends. If you buy it from a reputable seller then it should be between white and blue in which it will lean more towards blue

Oh and "dark purple" sounds more like black light to me.
