GAB, 17* timing advance and headers. About 600 if you install the headers yourself.

headers and a stand alone ECU professionally tuned on a dyno. but that's a pricey option... If you don't want to pay 1.5k+ just get the y-pipe, b-pipe, GAB and advance your timing to 17.

Only a dealer can do it. Costs about 80-100$. The lowest grade fuel you can probably get away with is 91, otherwise you get knock which is not good. Increasing acceleration and a little more efficient.

you should be using premium (91 octane) but, a cai, and a 17* timing advance are your friends.

I'd use premium regardless, using lower octane gas can cause early detonantion, which in turn would retard your timing.

As Alpinestars posted 3 posts up, 91 is the minimum octane rating.

Why not just use premium like nissan says? People have had problems not using premium, several problems have been mentioned. How can people honestly be that cheap that they can't put premium in, but would rather save $3 and put regular or $1.50 for 89. I'm somewhat perplexed by this.....

i agree...if you fill your tank with premium its only a few more dollars and you wont have problems with anything...you cant really say that about using regular...maybe i have no regard for money but an extra $15 a month to put the recommended fuel in your car is definitely worth it..

I was wondering, are there places the the US where 91+ is not available? I mean I always use 93 or 91 but what if I need to take a long road trip somewhere to Wyoming?
