Here is how my story goes. I also need some advice from you max.org people. I need to know what Kind of bulbs I should get next too. I am kinda leaning toward Koito white beams again. But though about trying PIAA xtreme. But they will probably burn out again. For now I am gonna run philips BV.

4:30 I started stripping my interior.
5:00 Supposed to meet sx7r near his house so we can caravan out to the track an hour away from home.
Well there is too much traffic and by the time we hit the parts with no traffic it was like 6:45.

Off we go! We hit ennis about 7:00 and it starts pouring. I mean i couldn't see at all. I switch on the headlights and foglights. I notice it was kinda dim, but I didn't think to much. I pull into Jack in the box and check the headlights. Both are out! Freakin A!!!! I only have high beams and no low beams. I ensured myself that I would find some cheap bulbs at the local parts center. Well Ennis is out in the middle of no where. No parts stores. We finally find Autozone and they are closed. So now here I am running around with no headlights.

Then we go to the track. They wouldn't even dry it off for us. The sun was shining by then. Our maxima crew decides to go to an 1/8 mile track instead of the 1/4 mile track. So it takes us 30 minutes to get there. It was dark by then. I had no freakin headlights. If i drove with my brights I would blind people. So I just drove with the fogs and parking lights.
We finally make it to the track. 1/8 mile is too freakin short. Not to mention this was the official hillbilly race track in the world. They were racing everything from off road 4x4 to trucks to trailiers. We were the only imports there. 4 maximas and a mitsu eclipes GS. Well here are my times for 1/8 mile. I got to run at least 30 times tonight.

Best time - 9.62
Worst time - 10.4
Remember this is 1/8 mile. My trap speeds were like 79 MPH and such.

Finally its 11:45 we decide to leave.
Well I'm following sx7r on the highway. He's crusing at 90 and I was following at like 85. We see people flashing us. We first slow down but we thought it was because I had my brights on. We kept going and then we see this cop car bust a U. He pulls both of us over.
I get a ticket for speeding, and driving with highbeams on. then a fix it ticket for my lightbulb.
sx7r gets ticket for speeding, and no inspection.

This has been one of the ****tiest days for Vicki.
And to think. This is our 1 year anniversary. Yup I got Vicki last year this same day at 8:52 pm.

why bother w/ aftermarket lights?
overboost.com has this article comparing aftermarket lights vs. stock lights on a 91 civic. guess what? the stock lights were the brightest out of all the lights.

well to me it doesn't matter how bright my headlights are. The foglights give me the most illumination on the road. even with my headlights burnt out I only drove with the fogs and I could see just as well as if I had my plasmas in the car.

Well, I have had them for a couple of months now so I really can't comment on how long they would last. I would hope they last longer than a year though.

I decided to get a pair of Koito White beam and a pair of piaa xtreme. If one burns out I will use the other. Now i'm gonna save up for some HID's

How come you drove with your parking and fog lights togather, on my car the fogs only work with the regular beam.

Everyone loves them....they'll never burn out, and on top of that you'll be able to see an armadillo a mile away, better then plowing into one.
Less amperage draw...

-ALL advantages for you.
Hmmm...maybe I should get HIDs. I've never seen an armadillo while driving before.

I can't believe the officer could tell you guys were speeding especially when oncoming. Unless they were blowing past traffic at that pace.
Nothing new in NYC, Maxximum Performance has fun on NYCs highways.

-Peace
