replacing coils and MAF

Doing a little tuneup on my 80k se because coil 1 and the MAF went bad. So im 6 coils and plugs, air filter and MAF. Do i need to do anything to let the car know its got nice new parts and to kick it up or run better. AKA reset the ecu? If so how? Is it just detaching the bat. for an hour?

Well, I would just leave it detached over night. When your coils went bad, did your MIL/SES light come on? Im thinkin my car needs new coils too...
