Don't put anything larger than 18 on Maxima.

The rims are too busy for my taste but if you like them get 'em. But, if you are not dropped you'll look like you are driving a 4x4.

I dunno, I think 20's are way to heavy and too gaudy for my tastes. If you like em, get em. Personally I would take the money for those rims and invest in suspension first.

if those were black with a polished lip, they would look awesome...

just not on a maxima. our cars are just not big enough for a wheel like that in that size. 300C, 7 series, Phaeton, E class and bigger would look good with those, but our cars just dont look right with larger than 19s on them. then 1" does make a difference. the ONE exception i have seen are the wheels on Rob Vam Dams car, and its mainly because they just dont look like 20s. these wheels look like they are 20s. get some nice 19s, youll still have some tire to roll around on, but not much. 19 is perfect IMO, others will tell you 18.

you should put 26" spinners and get a lift.
or maybe make up your own mind, and deside if you PERSONALLY like they way they look.

I agree, 19's would be the largest I'd go on a maxima. 20's seem oversized.

Not those wheels...and no wheels until your car is lowered.

There are a couple of 5th gens with decent 20's, but not many.

go ahead, u know u want to it will look good but it depends what type of rims though. Like some HRE's or something...But I'd say 18's or 19's will look good on the 5 gen...4th and 6 gens look better with 20's

Man why would all of you rip on someones personal taste. I think those 20's would look nice on a silver max. A friend of mine used to have a black 5th generation on 20's and it looked real clean. I say if you want it get there is nothing better than driving in your car knowing everyones looking at your twanks!

this is where we get into one persons opinion of clean vs. another...but personally, if you need 20" chrome rims to get people to look at your ride, its not clean, its demanding attention. ive never seen a maxima on 20s that looked clean, because 20" wheels simply arent clean if they are forced onto a car. Rob's car looks aggressive, but its not the same as a clean look, so it depends on what you want.

i believe that if i went with a 20" chrome or shiney wheel, it would TOTALLY change the look of my car, for the worse. like everyone said, its his personal taste, and as long as the car makes YOU happy, thats whats important, but hes asking us from experience based on what we have seen at meets and shows and whatever, and 20s just dont work on our cars.

Who's looking at my what???

Anyway, personally I would never put 20's on my car. I like having some tire between me and the road.

Save some money and go with 19's. 20's look way to busy on a Maxima, unless its an 04-up

My opinion is that 19's should be the maximum size you run. I would definitely drop the ride first though, it your car do what you feel is right for you. Good luck!

i agree, drop the max and throw them on. rims dont look bad, IMO they might look hot!!....but youll definitely change the ride quality of your car by dropping it and thrown DUBS on it....just my $.02...its ur car fam....

my friend ryan had 20's on his 5th gen and they looked good for a few reasons. 1. he had a black max and HID heads/fogs so the chrome wheels looked like they would on a nice lexus. 2. the wheels were alot better looking than the ones ur thinking about so it was much classier 3. that was about all he did so it wasnt overdone and remained classy because he wasnt about turning his car into a track/race car.
With that all said, he got rid of his 20's cause he hated the ride and they were way too heavy, he now runs the '04 18's. I ran 19's with my drop but for the summer will be downgrading to 18's because of the ride. If you really want those rims, go right ahead and buy them but I think in the long run you would regret it for the ride and for the looks. Id rather drive my sterling mist off a cliff before i put chrome on it. just alittle more info mixed in with my $.02 for ya.

Gentlemen...

I present you with the first lifted '00 Maxima SE riding on BFG All Terrain TA's.
It may be bad.... but at least it's really bad!

(I agree about the 18"s Go too much bigger and you loose too much off the bottom end anyhow...)
