Can the red half-circle overlays for a 5th gen taillight be blown off by a car wash pressure sprayer?

 

anyone have pics of the smoked side markers on a silver max or the redded out 5.5 tails yet?

yea i looked, but i dont see any smoked sidemarker pics of a silver max. i see the maj. blue max with them but no others. I also see the gle tails with the red overlay, but no 5.5 gen tails with it. take the time to read my post rather than pouncing on me.

 

Take the time to read and look through the link I gave you, and you would see the pics below and that Blue Batmobile said he has made the overlays.

 

those are not pics of his work those are custom painted tails done by another person, not Batmobile so get off my back. And that still doesnt provide me with pics of smoked side markers or the tails on a silver max, which is what i was asking for. so back off.

just the bottom pic thoough, right? someone actually did the top with paint, not the overlays. you wont be able to get the gunmetal background looking like that with an overlay, itll end up looking like the 00/01 SE tails.

 

So has no one else actually ordered this stuff yet???

 

Just want to chime in and say the overlays are top notch. I have a few on my G35. I also did a tail light overlay on my 95 max myself, and the stuff lasts forever (in all kinds of weather + conditions)

 

Can we get the owner of this thread or the manufacturer to answer some questions?

 

I have asked for the price of the 5.5 taillight overlay a few times.

 

I believe it's 15 dollars shipped...and YES people have BOUGHT IT!! I would show you pics but I haven't installed it yet as I'm currently in Cefiro land....aka TAIWAN. lol...will have pics by this weekend bat!!!

 

The would not be to hard to take off from what I have gather having to make some adjustments to mine. I just used a hair dryer and they seem to peal right up with enough heat directly applied.

ok i got my overlay kit today and i got it put on...took me only couple minutes to do




couldn't take a better pic cuz a car is parked behind me =/ i will get better pics some other day.

Bat, any update on the full overlays? I got an itch for them, as well as many 5th gen and 5.5 gen maximas.

 

I'm anxious to find out what's up with the 5.5 eye lids. How are you going to design them. I saw some pics on the 6th gen that matched the color of their car. Hmm...

 

The tail light overlays are complete. He has full coverage, reverse cutout only and brake/turn signal with reverse cutouts. I will take pictures of the overlays with both cutouts within the week.

 

Hey warrior, I bought the full overlays, and wanted to get pictures up, but its been too cold here for me to apply them. Will do asap.

 

Which ones are in the picture of the white max? Im definately inteested in those.

 

Warrior, what exactly do you mean by full coverage. I would be interested in seeing those. I have to purchase the front side marker tint again since someone rammed a shopping cart into the side of my car and it happened to hit the side marker and rip it half off.

Those are the same redouts that are on the satin blue GLE above the white SE. They only cover the amber/clear turn signal.

What I mean is that the overlay covers the entire tail light assembly, without any cutouts. As if you were to tint them with window film or nite shades.

 

Is bluebat selling those now??? If so how much did you pay??
