Interior Lights & Remote Control DEAD - what the heck?? help!

I just received my shipment from Autolumination consisting of one of their 6-LED dome light bulbs, 4 or 5-LED map light bulbs, and 3 inverted 5-led size 194 bulbs.

This is the exact order of operations prior to everything dying.

1. I put the map light bulb in and got pissed off that it didn't work.

2. I removed the map light bulb and put the stock one in.

3. I replaced the dome light bulb. Nice and white. Was going to leave it to check at night.

4. I put one of the inverted LEDs in my door lights, didn't find them significantly brighter or whiter than the white bulbs I already have there, and put the old ones back.

5. Decided to put the inverted bulbs in my sidemarkers instead.

I now go into my car and notice my dome light is off. It won't turn on no matter what I do.

Map light won't turn on either.

I then notice the door lights are off.

I start the engine, turn the headlights on, off, etc..., turn off the car. Try again. Nothing. No interior lights.

I get angry and close the door, planning to head to the computer to ask you guys for help, when suddenly I push the lock button on my remote control and it doesn't work.

I open up the car and try to lock it by pushing the button on the door - nothing.

I had to lock every door manually. The trunk release and panic button on the remote don't work either; however, the power windows do roll do.

What the heck happened? What do I do?

Great... how would I go about fixing this, or even finding out which fuses I blew?

****'ing autolumination... once that map light didn't work I knew I was going to have problems. Wish I never ordered anything from them.

I did and found the following:

SPARE FUSE
IGN 10A: A/T CONTROL
IGN 10A: ELECTRONIC PARTS
IGN 10A: SEAT HEATER
IGN 15A: ENGINE CONTROL
BAT 20A: RR DEFOG
BAT 15A: FR FOG LAMP
BAT 15A: HAZARD LAMP
BAT 20A: RR DEFOG
BAT 15A: TRUNK OPENER
BAT 15A: STOP LAMP
ACC 10A: MIRROR

*NEXT COLUMN*

SPARE FUSE
IGN 15A: ENGINE CONTROL
IGN 10A: AIR CON
IGN 10A: AIR BAG
IGN 10A: FUEL INJECTOR
[SPACE]
[SPACE]
ACC 15A: POWER SOCKET
[SPACE]
[SPACE]
BAT 10A: ROOM LAMP
[SPACE]
BAT 10A: ELECTRONIC PARTS

*NEXT COLUMN*

SPARE FUSE
IGN 10A: ABS
IGN 10A: METER
IGN 15A: FUEL PUMP
IGN 10A: DTRL
IGN 10A: SUSPENSION CONTROL
IGN 10A: TURN LAMP
IGN 20A: WIPER
[SPACE]
ACC 10A: ROLL BLIND
ACC 15A: CIG LIGHTER
ST 10A: STARTER SIGNAL

I figured it was BAT 10A: ROOM LAMP, so I replaced the 10A room lamp fuse with the red spare fuse with a "10" on it, and it did not fix anything (note: I have removed the autolumination lights from my interior, so I don't think it's causing any sort of repeat of the problem).

I also tried BAT 10A: ELECTRONIC PARTS and that didn't do the trick either.

I don't think it can be any of the IGN stuff, since I figure IGN means "ignition" and the ignition doesn't necessarily need to be on for the interior lights (map, dome, door) to be working. Nor does it need to be on for the power locks or remote control to work.

What should I try now?

Ok - I went back to the car and checked the BAT 10A: ROOM LAMP fuse and it was DEFINITELY blown (the metal piece inside is completely split in two and looks melted). When replacing this fuse, it should all work again, but it doesn't... and why would this affect my remote control functionality and door locks?

Watch these people say "not our fault" when I try to return the bulbs.

When I read you say your remote doesn't work, the first thing I thought of was a dead battery. Check your battery -- when was the last time you replaced it?

Check Fuse "key less" located in engine compartment. Interior lights are same harness with security system. If you donate you will able to search - as far as I can remember some people had same problem in past.

Problem solved. It was the "ROOM LAMP" fuse; however, I put the fuse back in the wrong place because of the misleading diagram. In the same row, there is a empty space in which you cannot put a fuse, so I skipped that one assuming it wasn't part of the diagram. Apparently it was. Moved the fuse over 1 slot and it worked. woohoo!
