Side Marker Lens Replacement How To?

the how to for the clear side marker lens replacement is a 404 error, and i am in desperate need of a how to, since i am retarded and un auto-literate. i think i figured out how to replace the rear ones....thru the trunk, but it looks as though i may have to take off the front bumper to get to the front ones

any suggestions to find a how to, or anybody know how to DIY?
thanks

Take off your hood, front bumper, headlights, fog lights, remove the engine and tranny and you should be able to replace them.

i just removed the quarter panels, took them all inside, took the side markers out, put the new ones in, and put the panels back on.

have you ever removed the quarter panel from our cars? takes a good hour each. so removing all four and putting them back on is 8 hours. then the 5 hours it took to change out the sidemarkers

Well to change the oil I think it is a good idea to break down the whole car, you can never be too careful...

You are kidding right??? I'm sure you are....are you???? Well any how all you have to do if I think your talking about the front and rear side makers is get a flat head screw driver and a oil rag or old rag of some type. Place the rag against your car place the edge of the screw driver behind the light and against the rag to keep from nicking your paint. Pop it out, for the front yellow light do it from the rear side close to the front door. For the rear do it to the side closest to the rear door. Good luck

Thats true for the 02-03's, on the 00-01's you have to remove the front end and take out the engine and trans.
