03 fuel filter question

i was curious i was looking for my fuel filter to no avail, then i looked in my fram service book and it states that on an 03 it's non servicable, but it is on the 02, so is it in the fuel tank or somthing? and only gets changed along with the fuel pump or what? any feedback?

it is not mention in the books because Nissan marked it as a non required replacement part. It is a PITA to do

I called my service dept and was told that it would be $250 plus the cost of parts to replace it. They told me that it was only to be changed as needed, which didnt make sense but im no tech.

This was a very interesting read. Im kinda torn as whether or not to do it. I guess ill just do everything else on my "to do" list (as far as the Max goes) and then do it. Those filters looked scary....
