I'm open to anything engine swaps, completely rice it out. Iam even willing to buy a crate engine so come on

Since its 2000. you can do turbo or super charge it with a little of nitrous and all regular boltons.
Since you have that much money it might be better to sell this one and just buy the same but manual.
I hope you don't kill yourself at your 17 or 18.

Don't swap the motor. Put a tc/sc and like a 75 shot. When you blow your current motor rebuild, with stronger internals. When you doing that if your tranny hasn't blown yet, upgrade that so its stronger.

your 18 years old...you have $17,000 dollars...how about $2000 into the max for wheels and stuff, and $15k saved for a house or something that you wont get bored with in 2 years? i didnt want this answer at 18 either, but 5 years and 5 cars later, i wish i listened. save it, your gonna need it, and being able to pull your car into your own garage to do an oil change or exhaust is a lot better than propping it up on the curb at your apartment complex.

Based on this question, you obviously know nothing about Nissans or Infinitis, so I suggest doing more research before attempting your 400 whp project.

So, you went around post whoring so you could post this question? Browse the "All Motor" section and see if that answers any of your questions. I said, browse, don't post, because those guys will eat you alive in there if you post a thread like this.

save your money...no point of trying to squeeze out 400+ hp.

Either that or sell the car and get a wrx..those are more conducive to spitting out 400+ hp...

if you have $17g to spend and you're fresh out of college, i suggest you invest some of it. you do know that cars are terrible investments, and depreciate with time. if you put some money somewhere else, say a mutual fund, your money will actually grow (yes the next day you will technically have more money than the day before). and the younger you are when you start, the better off you'll be financially down the road.

this is the best advice you'll get man!!!! dont waste your money on frivolous things...... money is easy to get but hard as **** to spend, i know you probably wont even start to understand that but you'll get it after about 6months or a year and all that money you've saved up is gone and you have nothing to show for it, put that money into college or a house

if u wanna go for it, i say do it, but dont put ALL $17gs into the car. no one is gonna stop u from doing wut u want with ur money but i think a "few" grand is more than enough to be happy, like two or three is fine. shoot, i'll take one grand and be happy.

wow.... you sound like me when i was your age.. which was like 1 or 2 years ago. hehe. but damn i was spendings thousands, thousands, and upon thousands of dollars on my car.. i mean i regret it, but at the same time i don't because it's a hobby. With all the money i spent on my car i could've bought a new car or even.... put a down payment on a house or something... don't waste your 17g's on your car.

a good 10 thousand is enough. have fun with the car but don't go crazy..

at the age of 17-18 and you have 17gs saved up. You sound pretty smart, so I suggest you read all you can figure out what YOU want, not what everyone else wants, or would do.

okay, im a newbie, and know enough about cars just to be able to maintain my own, but it doesnt take a car enthusiast, a mechanic, or a rocket scientist to either believe this is a bluff, or just some dumb@$$ kid with nothing better to do than to brag about mucho dinero, and what better to do than to hop on a forum conveniently boasting of his new inheritance. am i right, or am i right? can i get an AMEN!?

u 18 year olds are rich... ok this is what you do. get on the cover of SUPER STREET! start out with your motor. rebuild the whole thing with forged parts. get new pistons, rods, bearings. then your HEAD. take it apart. port and polish it. get new valves, springs. get a new camshaft. then get a thick *** head gasket to lower ur compression. then put ur motor together. while doing all that though, also do your suspension. lower ur car! get sway bars and what not. get fatter tires and bigger wheels! and get a big brake upgrade!! also get a high volume fuel pump, redo ur fuel and brake lines, get a fuel regulator, fuel rail, and fat injectors. then throw a turbo on it with a big wastegate instead of a bypass valve so u get that really cool sound of air releasing. get a front mount intercooler and oil cooler while ur at it! then tune it and ur set!!!! there goes ur 17Gs + MORE! then save more and work on the interior and ICE!
