painted my interior......

hey guys,
yesterday i was really bored, so i went to autozone and got me some interior paint and decided to paint some of my interior pieces...not hard at all, and paid off at the end, i think it looks good, and it was honestly fun doing it, taking everything apart, and painting it slowly, well at first u had to send it off lol....
here are some pics....comments are welcome...let me know what you guys think
thanks huso
-------after seeing some interior pics of another org member "Ephraim" i really wanted to do this, and he was also inspired by "metalmaxima"

one more quick question....i can get stuff written on my headrest/seats for like 25 bucks, just like u see it on some expencive leather seats...it says "maxima" and stuff....what should i put on mine? and where? either headrest, or the back of the seat?
let me know

thanks again

interior paint? What kind? looks good...i might do this. The paint almost looks like the sterling mist color. I bought a can of KT3(sterling) spray paint, will that work? Did u put clear coat?

You clearcoated it right? I painted some stuff but I think my clearcoat is not thick or hard enough. It gets easily scratched.

hmmm... i have no idea if it'll work, i have a can of it also, but didnt try it...iam sure that it'll work, as longest it sticks, and KT3 will look really nice....
i used the autozone paint that they have for interior, its like 5 bucks a can, u need some sand paper (800) which was like another 3 bucks, and u need some GOOF OFF, that what i used to clear the pieces before painting....no i did not use clear coat,,,,,,
and good luck man, its really easy to do, and u'll be happy with it...

Looks good. I do not approve of the "Maxima" on the dash though but that's just me.

I would not do any aesthetic modifications based on other people’s opinions. I would do what you think looks good. You’re the one driving the car. Performance is another thing, it is always good to get all the information you can gather on those modifications.

i cant get maxima off of the dashboard, cause i used super glue
DUMB ME......if i try to get it off, it'll rip the whole dashboard thingy offf..
so i'll have to live with it...iam working on it rite now, iam trying to get the "MAXIMA" painted to silver....it should look good at the end...
i'll post some pics of it when iam done...
and the headrest thingy...idk the store will charge m $25 to put anything i want on headrest...it dosent really have to be "maxima" i can have something smaller i guess, but idk....
i'll see....
thanks guys for all the comments...

You could get your initials, lol your area code if you wanna "keep it gangsta" or meybey a small nissan hamburger or sumthing. If you do get anything put on your seats get it put on the headrests, it looks strange when ppl get stuff put on the backs of the seats.

Check for a loose wire for the cig lighter, when i took apart my shift console thingy a wire came loose on my emegency flasher button.

yeah i'll check the wire, i didnt have time today...but i'll most likely 2morrow...

hahaha, true, why would you want to stich on letters on cloth? if you had leather it might look good, but on cloth? itll definately look cheap.

Try hobby stores, i remember seeing something that breaks superglue down back to a gooey form, i gues you could let the glue dry n try to sand off the remainder or something if you want.

Lol i saw sumthing like that... but on a PT loser me n my friends nickname it the GTR loser
Aww man check out that shift *** on the auto
Uh oh looks like Metal Maxima just got showed up by brian stonesapp, im mean look at that quality work on that trunk liner, and when he zooms on his great looking paint on his center arm rest.
Wheres the spoiler and potato gun at? Meybey we shouldnt make fun of him he looks like kick sum butt.

Yo huso that looks sick , i like the interior. looks like a nice way 2 save money over buying the brushed aluminum kit. also i rule i have the less maxima logos on the car the nicer and cleaner it looks(removed off trunk) , take that emblem off lol
