Windows sticking
#1
My passenger side front window wants to "stick" in place. On warm days, you can hear it "break loose" from how it was sticking, and it will roll down. However, the other day it was pretty chilly out and the thing would not roll down. I gave up not wanting to burn the motor up. One of the back windows sticks sometimes too.
Any suggestions on how to fix? I thought about lowering and raising the window repeatedly to get it "broken in". I also thought about a small film of Vaseline along the top lip of the window.

I have tints on all windows, but the only one I have the sticking problem is the driver's side. I see black stuff around the area where I think it's having the problem. Anyone else have a clue on what's going on?

I had this problem before with my Acura Legend, but what I found that works really well is a light coating of silicone on the rubber seals around the window and on the door. you may have to wipe your window a few times, but shortly thereafter it should not stick any longer. Your rubber just needs a little lubrication lol

my PF was doing this
and I went to Napa (like pep boys). told them what I needed. there are two products that seem similiar in function. the key is finding a product that does not breakdown the rubber (petrol based). Like I said there are at least 2 available. One makes all kinds of claims about restoring rubber and says its for this purpose. I think it was 7 bucks. Its VERY important not to get this stuff on your paint. If all you can find is a spray, spray a rag, the rip it into the track. dont get in a hurry and try to spray it in. I hear you'll be sorry if it drips down the door and you dont get it off. I've heard you can accidentally take off the black trim stuff around some car's windows too if not careful.
