Is it really that hard??

Currently on the phone Nissan Dealer trying to get a price on new Strut Boots/bump stops. Tell me why have I been on the phone for like 20 minutes now, listening to these guys talk about everything in the background, from thier girlfriend's "wierd smell" (No kidding) to some unidentifiable parts that they cant find. In the end the guy puts me on hold for another 5 min only for me to come back to someone else, whom I had to explain to once again as to what I'm looking for. Siigghhh...Eventually he finally finds it on his computer I guess, only to tell me that the front are $17 each.. out of stock, and the rears are $36+/- (cant remeber exact figure) in stock.

I've already burned my eyes out lookin online and searching for where i can get kyb replacements, other than catman. I've read that we can use the rears of a 95 mustang and the fronts of a miata, Dont remeber what year. But then again, that was for a 4th gen I believe. WOuld that work for our 5th gen also?? I'm installing Illuminas with H-Techs by the way, and looking onlin efor this thing is giving me a headache. I guess local autopart stores are the next bet.

I ordered mine from cattman. I have illumina's and I had to make the hole bigger in the bump stop for the rear struts.(KYB Strut boots) I have 2 extra front one's if you want them. I'm not sure if you have to make any mods to it.

You might want to get chamber correction screws. Actually if anyone could comment on this, do you really need them?

Alot of board members have commented that u dont need them. As for new boots, you'll only need them if your old ones are torn or damaged.
