If the car is running rich, your O2 sensors should have picked that up and adjusted. Maybe they are the culprit? Seems unlikely though since you would have gotten a check engine light if they were bad. One suggestion would be to go back to stock and then see if it does the same. A trip to the dealer would be in order then.

Have you checked the front O2 sensors by pulling them out? Maybe you should check just in case.

There is an easy check but I am not sure of it. Perhaps you want to seek out Daniel B. Martin. He hangs out on the 4th gen forum and will surely know the answer to this

I was thinking and there may be another reason for your problem. Have you checked the MAF sensor? If that thing is not working right, then that may be the reason you are running rich and the car is bogging. Try and take off the intake and go back to the stock box. If it still does it, go to the dealer. If it is the MAF sensor, it is not a cheap fix..... $400 or $500 for a new MAF tube.

That could be it because my car already went through two of them (dealer fixed it thank god) i might have bad wirering to make it keep happening. Just to be sure does your MAF sensor have the plug on the top? Maybe i but it in wrong?

hmmmm...if it is gone now, then I would definitely suspect that the MAF sensor is faulty and not working correctly all the time....

this is going to suck because I have to put on my stock y-pipe and my stock intake set-up so I can bring it in to get inspected. Err, I dont think im going to make this race the 30th...( by the way its doing it again worse now, I was going up a minor hill and it started to ping and tick and it was bogging)
