Clunking or something.

i JUST got my exhaust to stop clanging yesterday by zip-tieing the b-pipe rubber hanger and removing that little brance thing that goes underneith the b-pipe.

Today I got out of a "sidewalk entrance" backwards - about 90% of the way out, I bottomed out with a scrape and a clunk - probably the engine cross-member.

After that when i start out in 1st gear, i hear *clunk*. scared the crap out of me the first few times becuase i thought it could have been the vital parts such as axles or something like that. I know for sure the Cattman muffler clangs on the hole above the rear axle - but that's not what im talking about, its a clunk sound.

I have a feeling its the either the y-pipe or b-pipe clunking. Cattman / FC owners help?

try wiggling the muffler around with the car on the floor...it should be silent...after that, jack up the car and carefully look for signs of piping hitting something...it should be scratched up etc....re adjust if necessary...

when are you experiencing this clunk noise? more info plz

I wouldn't want you to be my English Department Dean if you can't spell "plagiarized" correctly.
