6spd Question

as i put my 02 6spd in reverse to leave work tonight it grinded when i pressed the gas so i immediately let off and it went away...did i not have the car all the way in gear and how detrimental is this to my transmission?

it'll be fine....so long as you don't accidentally throw it in reverse instead of 6th or something, not much can happen since the engine speed isn't very high when putting it into reverse from a stop (assuming you don't rev to 4k to reverse...)
