Pully Question

Hey I got a question,
ever since i put my y-pipe i seem to have this funny feeling in my steering wheel when i am reversing. and makes a weird rrrrrrrrm noise.

I was looking at my engine and noticed that on the left side there are 4 pullies on the engine and the one closest to the firewall on the bottom seems to wobble

Is there any way to tighten it?

Could it be the cause of something else that it seems to wobble now?

More stress on the car?

If its your crankshaft pulley...the pulley itself has a rubber gasket type thing in it and when this wears out your pulley wobbles. If thats the case it needs to be replaced. I got mine replaced for free with my extended warranty! Otherwise it would be a few hundred through a stealership.

No, it's not normal. Which pulley wobbles?

IT would be the bottom pully closest to the firewall. passager side.

It only seems to make a rarrrrrr noise in reverse and kinda shudders the car.

Your crankshaft pulley is at the very bottom of your motor but the power steering pump pulley is a little higher to the left (firewall side) of it, but it is not directly connected to the motor. If you take off your passangers wheel you can see the crank pulley. If thats the one wobbling than if may be the same issue I had. My motor is so much quieter since it got replaced. You could really hear it outside the car. I havent seen this a lot on the forum so it doesnt seem to be common.
