Angel eye size?

Does anyone know the size in millimeters of the DDE's? or the size of the rings on our headlights?

^I doubt they'd look as good as Umnitza's, also note they're precut to exact specs for 02-03 Maxima's. If you're willing to give it a try let us know how it went.

i dont think that it has to make all the way around....
just the sides and the lower part, the upper part of the circle doesnt have to "glow" so i think that those would work, and they seem really cheap and someone should try it, I am not going to be first one to lol...good luck on that....

If you're planning doing custom angeleyes with Elwire please don't waste your time and money....been there, done that.... check this link and you'll see the results http://public.fotki.com/saucisse/custom_angeleyes/ picture 1 was with the flash ''on'' and picture 2 and 3 w/o.

I'm doing another try with CCFL rings from computer fans (can be found for like 12$)....these are the same rings used on original DDE's powered by a 12V DC inverter and output is like +- 240V A/C depending on the inverter you're using. I will also install as a safety for the inverter, a 12V regulator for the power input since the alternator/battery output can go over 13V.

I know this may sound ''ghetto'' but kind of fun when you have time to kill

I know the 140mm should fit the high beams....for the low beams, I'll see once I'll have re-open the headlights...maybe I'll use the same 140mm since those are the larger available and try to custom fit them in place....we'll see...

For the smaller ring of the fan, I've just custom fit one on the ignition key light ring!! Just too bad I did not had the my camera at the time we did it

its stated in the auction....

"The kit can also be applied on other vehicles but there is no specific installation guide can be provided for vehicles other than BMW. As long as there is a way to take the headlight lens off and the ring can fit into the headlight (outer and inner diameter of ring are around 13cm and 11cm respectively), these angel eye rings can work in your headlights!"
