That's why, is because it's not urethane. Plastic is cheaper. You'll be fine with abs for the sides and rear, but you probably don't want to mess with it for the front.

You want Urethane for the front, by experience from all the lip guys.

This is my setup (not installed yet)

1) Stillen polyurethane front bumper
2) Jdubs (Stillen copy) fiberglass sideskirts
3) ABS Dynamics plastic rear lip

The sides and rear don't get anywhere near as much beating as the front... Which reminds me, I should get a clear bra.

I have someone who will do it for about $100, he is a friend of my brothers and I guess he does some great work.

I just dont feel like installing it myself...

Its not worth the $20-30 to have someone else do it, I guess I will make that final decision when I look it over (I still have not laid eyes on the lip and it has been delivered for a week now ).

i just wanted to point out that the ABS lip on ebay is actually stillen style. Its that copy crap that they sell, which is fact has fitment issues near the fog lights. SOOO...just thought you should know that.

I don't think it matters because I bought a Maxx Tunning front lip which is urthane and it cracked on me very easily. I barely put pressure on it going up a small incline.

That's probably because the Maxxtuning lip is a much more inferior product than a Stillen urethane lip. I've seen the maxtuning lips in person and they are much thinner and also don't fit well.

I have front & rear Stillen lips on mine and I was rear ended pretty hard once & the lip wasn't at all damaged, even though it took a direct hit.
