Got my girl a hot new black skirt!! Pics inside!

Hey guys, Finally got my Maxxtuning lip, Stillen sides and ABS Dynamic ( Stillen knockoff) rear valance installed, I also decided to get my front grill paint matched. I'm lovin it, just wanted to see what you guys think? What do you think to the paint matched grill? More pics on my domain. The Maxxtuning lip went on no probs, but the Stillen sides required a little work to fit perfectly as did the ABS Dynamic rear.

The only other mod I'm planning on doing is the headlight surround black out with cleared amber and Angel eyes.

Thanks, yeah I've debated that, I had it on my 4th gen for 2 years but did get 1 ticket as it's illegal here, might do it anyway

That's one of the nicest, cleanest looking Max's I've ever seen. I love the wheels and have been trying to locate some of them same ones for my Max but haven't had any luck. Once the front windows are tinted and you've got the DDE's installed it should look perfect.

That is one sweet looking max!!!

Who did the paint work? Was the kit(s) installed and then painted on the vehicle?

Thanks guys for all the props! Glad you all like it. I have a friend who runs a body shop, I've used them for years here in Vancouver, Canada. The kit was pre fitted ( holes pre drilled etc) as the sides and rear need some tweeking, then the kit was removed and heat baked to extract the siliconed based fluids they use in order to remove the kit pieces from the molds, the shop painted all the parts including the front grill off the car and then re installed.

I had a couple of suggestions in addition to doing the headlight black mod to also black out the window trim, what do yu think? I left it as I have the burger logo chrome emblem on the front, window trim on the sides and chrome logo's on the rear with the Nismo emblem ( splashes of chrome sort of speak) so I thought it carries around the car.

you should def black out your lights, and also, smoke your emblems, with the tint spray, so it will be shiny black, like black pearl. smoke your sides also. it looks good man.

Yeah, black out the window trim. I've been wanting to do that for a while. There were some pics of one here a while ago and it was stunning.

Very nice car man. You pretty much have what I'm aiming for. I have a black on black 02 6-spd, and want those rims, lip, and the DDEs/clear hids too. Now your car makes me want them more... damn mod bug. Again, your car is very nice.

And to Teufelhunden, does the tint spray really allow you to smoke your emblems? Does it turn them to look like the 00-01 style? Pics?

Car looks excellent! The one thing I would have to do if I ever switched to a 5th gen is black out the chrome window trim.

I have thought about this, but I just dont think that I could deal with black tape on my car. I am too much of a perfectionist for it to be there

yes, you can spray it to how dark you want it, and then coat it with clearcoat. yes, like the old ones.

Wonder if there is a better way which remains simple to blackout the window trim? I agree with Park2670 tape would just seem too cheap looking.

Brinkley before and after pics are on my domain if you're referring to the skirts? Thanks

Your car deserves a compliment. One thing that I would do is to change the amber turn signals on your headlight to the clear lens from home depot.

absoluetly beautiful. consider topping it off by painting the headlight housings and definitely match that tint up in the front! maybe even stealth the sidemarkers with some nightshade?

Really really well done. Black out the window chrome and headlights and I think you will be good to go. As is, it still looks really hot.

that is one CLEAN *** maxima. I like the front grille for sure, i like the rear lights too, they match your color better than stock 02 lights. Get those front windows tinted and u r in business.

Thanks again guys for the props and to answer a few questions:

limsandy Yes my next mod as mentioned in the beginning is the headlight amber clear and housing black paint mod. Like your lip!

Ressling Yeah I think I will match up the tint and put some extra cash a side for the tickets!!!

bugbite77 The rear lip did have some adjustments etc to be made to it to fit properly,, but then again the Stillen sides needed a littel tweeking too. SO I'd say for the price the knock is soo worth it, and truth be known there are more Maxima's than you might think saying they have the Stillen rear but really have the knock off!
